God is Faithful

We may quit and walk away from God, but God never quits on us.”

5Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Hebrews 13:5

20And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.  24For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Luke 15:20,24

God remembered us when we were down, His love never quits. Rescued us from the trampling boot, His love never quits. Takes care of everyone in time of need. His love never quits. Thank God, who did it all! His love never quits!

Psalms 136:23-26 MSG

For the Lord will never walk away from his cherished ones, nor would he forsake his chosen ones who belong to him.

Psalm 94:14 TPT

 Victory Decision

When I feel like quitting and giving up on God and my faith I will stop and cry out to God. I will rehearse the many things He has done for me. I will remember His faithfulness and I will not quit.

Prayer Makes a Way

“There’s a way when you pray.

In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord,And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.

Isaiah 38:1-6

17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her.20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.

1 Samuel 1:17-20

“Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.”

– Max Lucado

“Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between his will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer.”

– Elisabeth Elliot

Victory Action

Instead of complaining about what I don’t have or can’t do, I will go to God in prayer. I will put my faith and trust in God to meet my need.

Learning is Part of Life

“Wise people are those who learn from their mistakes; fools never learn.

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

Proverbs 1:5

Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.  Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.7

Micah 7:7-8

Knowledge begins with fear and respect for the Lord, but stubborn fools hate wisdom and refuse to learn.

Proverbs 1:7 ERV

Henry Ford said, “The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.” Everyone makes mistakes. The Bible is full of stories of people who made mistakes. Remember Saul? He made persecuting and killing Christians his goal in life. That was a mistake that got God’s attention and brought Saul face to face with Him. After being blinded on the road to Damascus Saul decided it might be a good time to change his ways. Brilliant! God redeemed him and changed his name to Paul. He then went on to write numerous books in the Bible and spend them rest of his life building the kingdom of God. He learned from his mistake! Even when we blow it God is ready to restore us and help us change.

 Victory Decision

When I make a mistake I will own it. I will not lose hope. I will repent and ask God for His help to change. I will learn from the experience and choose to live more wisely in the future.

The Prodigal Son

“God always brings us back to where we should be.

11And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Luke 15:11-24

Every time I see my brother, I just praise God for God’s grace in his life. Because if God can change Franklin from a prodigal into a man of God, he can do it for anybody.

– Anne Graham Lotz

 Victory Decision

I choose to do whatever it takes to be where God wants me to be.

Let the Past Stay Buried

“It is illegal to dig up dead bodies.

20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20

11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

 Romans 6:11

Yet, my brothers, I do not consider myself to have “arrived”, spiritually, nor do I consider myself already perfect. But I keep going on, grasping ever more firmly that purpose for which Christ grasped me. My brothers, I do not consider myself to have fully grasped it even now. But I do concentrate on this: I leave the past behind and with hands outstretched to whatever lies ahead I go straight for the goal—my reward the honour of being called by God in Christ.

Philippians 3:13 (Phillips)

If Paul was able to leave his past under the blood of Jesus, you should be able to as well. Paul, previously known as Saul, had the job of killing Christians. That is not something that would be easy to forget. Paul encountered the power of God on the road to Damascus and was forever changed. But he said he had to continually leave his old life in the past. That is what we must do. Leave the past in the past. Reach toward the will of God for your life now. He has a good plan. Don’t miss it because you are looking to what is behind you. There is a saying, “If the devil brings up your past, remind him of his future.”

Victory Action

When Jesus was crucified, every sin, weakness and fault of mine was nailed to the cross with Him. Therefore, when the enemy comes accusing, I will refuse to dig them up.

Power to Overcome

“Jesus has already overcome anything I will ever face.

33These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

I John 5:4

Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

Romans 8:37 AMP

Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world.

1 John 4:4 (TPT)

There is nothing that you will face that Jesus hasn’t already conquered for you. He didn’t leave anything out when He went to the cross. His blood covers it all. Trust Him. Keep your eyes on Him. Stay in the Word of God and victory will be yours. Stay in faith. Do not let the enemy steal your joy. Remember, God is on YOUR side!

Victory Decision

I will be of good cheer, regardless of circumstances, because Jesus has already won my victory.

God’s Best is Yours

“The best is yet to come.”

9The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

Haggai 2:9

19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Ephesians 3:19-21

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him…”

1 Corinthians 2:9

“Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come.” -Zig Ziglar

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Eternal, “plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope—never forget that.

Jeremiah 29:11 (VOICE)

“No pit is so deep that He is not deeper still; with Jesus even in our darkest moments, the best remains and the very best is yet to be. “- Corrie Ten Boom

Everyone has times that they lose sight of the good in their life and their focus goes to the negative people or situations around them. God knew that would happen so He encouraged us in His Word to stay positive because good things are on the way. God is good! He is faithful! He has good plans for you! Don’t focus on the negative. Stir up your faith for the great things God has planned for you.

Victory Action

I will live in peace assured that with God everything in my life will keep getting better.

God is at Work

Believe that God is working the miracle needed.”

8The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 13And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Matthew 8:8-10, 13

God is working on your problem. Stay calm. Stay sweet. Stay out of fear and keep on keeping on. – Joyce Meyer

5 Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man. He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him.

Psalm 66:5-6 (ESV)

1Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

2 Corinthians 4:18 (AMP)

There is a very popular song that says, “even when I don’t feel it you’re working, even when I don’t see it you’re working”. Those words are so true. The Bible tells us not to be moved by what we see because those things are temporary – subject to change. Don’t be disheartened when things don’t seem to be changing. Just trust God and keep your faith strong that He is working.

Victory Confession

I am not moved by what I see or hear. I trust God! I believe that God is working on my behalf.

God is Trustworthy

“Prayer is coming to a trusted friend.

9And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Luke 11:9-13

10 For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you.

Psalm 9:10 (TPT)

Prayer is about relationship and communication. God is your Father and loves you in ways you can’t even begin to understand. That is why He wants to fellowship with you in prayer. It isn’t a one way street. He wants to hear from you and He wants you to hear His heart for you. God is not a gossip. You are safe with Him. So tell Him the truth – He already knows anyway! Open your heart and let Him do a work there. He will not betray your trust. He wants to answer your prayers.

Victory Decision

God is my friend. I can trust Him as I share the deepest secrets of my heart. I am determined to fellowship with Him in prayer more.

Be at peace

“Just stay in peace and in faith and it will work out.

34And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Mark 5:34

3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3

5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Have you heard the phrase, “easier said than done”? Remember that the Word of God gives us direction that is simple – although not always easy. Sometimes when situations are tough we have to battle to stay in peace and faith. We do that by meditating on and praying God’s Word. Simple. When our adversary brings fear we must respond with the Word of God. Remember, you already have peace if your mind is stayed on Him. God promised that. So your enemy is trying to take what is already yours. You are not striving to get something you don’t have – you are defending what belongs to you.

Victory Action

I will trust God’s word rather than my senses, so I can stay in peace and be assured that everything will work out fine.
